One of the marquee community events in Georgetown, Art All Night 2024 is going to be bigger than ever! With 19 locations along Wisconsin Ave NW, you'll be sure to see live music, art installations, workshops, magicians, and more. This family-friendly event runs from 6-11pm on September 27 and features something that everyone can enjoy.

Begun by partners Sylvia Ripley and Christopher Addison in 1981 in Dupont Circle, the gallery expanded to its present location on Wisconsin Avenue in Georgetown in 2002. During its 40 plus continues years in business the gallery has exhibited local, national and international talent, shepherding emerging artists and highlighting established ones. Among the services available through the gallery for private clients, art consultants , interior designers and corporates entities are art acquisition, placement, lighting, framing & appraisals.

WAVE by Nancy Reynolds. Sculpture: Laminated Plywood, Latex, and Lacquer. Now, in her 7th exhibition in the gallery, Ms. Reynolds continues to confound viewer’s expectations of her medium’s possibilities, working the wood to create delicate shapes which defy every presumption. Presented in single shapes, series and couplets, the artist’s work is flawlessly finished and occupies a stage like presence once installed in its space. Reynolds feels that utilizing latex paints and lacquer gives the work a slightly industrial feel and adds to the work’s sense of modernity as well as protecting delicate edges and surfaces.

Robin Bell is creating an immersive room at Klagsbrun Studios by expanding his series of 3D projected structures. The artwork challenges perfection by emphasizing imperfections in the printing process and magnifying nuances. Mistakes are transformed into essential elements that blend together to form a cohesive whole that represents the complexity of our shared lives.

Gallery Article 15 is a unique gallery specializing in Congolese contemporary art. Located in the historic Georgetown neighborhood of Washington, DC, Gallery Article 15 features an extensive collection of contemporary Congolese art by emerging, mid-career and established artists. In addition to ongoing exhibitions, Gallery Article 15 actively promotes Congolese art and culture through special events and programs.

In this solo exhibition, Congolese artist Houston Maludi creates works that blur our perception of near and far by drawing from the two ends of the electromagnetic spectrum — red and blue. While at first the scenes appear chaotic, each work reveals an embedded order to the story in beautiful detail.
